The tide did come back, it is what it does, tho not in any hurry. Meanwhile, nothing to do in the inclined cabin, i watched wildlife and then finally the arrival of the tide. It was really quite amazing, the swirly details, the sounds. We should all stare more often.
And then it was a perfect flat boating day to Juneau, with dolphins & eagles.
Decisions. I would like to take different routes and scenic side trips on the way back.
But it turns out gas is an issue. I certainly don't want to run out, and, this being a vast untamed wilderness, there arent many gas stations.
But i had another thot: Maybe every summer i could trailer it somewhere, and friends would come there and we'd boat around, sleeping ashore of course because it isnt big enuf for more than me to actually live on.
I'm thinking: Puget Sound, Desolation Sound, Lake Powell, Columbia River, Great Lakes, Florida Keys, and such.
